Our Founding
Hey, I'm Kevin Apolinario. I have 12 years of customer service experience. I started working in tech back in 2014. I always knew that I would love to work with people and touch different technologies. I eventually leverage my soft skills to break into tech.
In 2002 my dad gave me a Sony VAIO PC. I started to get familiar with operating systems and hardware parts. I would spend hours playing video games and open pc computers. In 2008 I worked volunteer for the NYPD and participated in different events such as meals on wheels and school events.
In 2014, I started learning about information technology and went to a technical training school in Brooklyn. I started studying comptia a+ to understand how computer parts work. I completed my comptia a+ and started my first job for the department of education.
I am also a technical trainer and speaker who educates and mentors aspiring IT techs on my YouTube channel, Kevtech IT Support, and through various platforms and events. I have helped over 18,000 people land IT support roles through my instructional videos, covering topics such as Comptia A+, Network+, entry-level helpdesk, customer service skills, and resume writing. I have presented and spoken at Microsoft, Jobtrain, Upwardly Global, Spiceworks, Bsides Romania, HDI, and Merit America. My mission is to share my knowledge and experience with others who want to break into tech in a non-traditional way, as I did.
My goal is help everyone break into tech with low affordable training. I love teaching and helping students unlock their own potential. We're only getting started. We want to see everyone grow and build a career in tech.
